Why cut it?

still air is one degree higher than forced air which runs at 99.5 and you try to hold it there sally is running higher In a cooler bater if your at 102 and you get a spike it can kill you eggs 104 is real bad give your self room and really 101 should be the max temp. your L G is really bad about spiking watch for it . if you get a spike take off the top quick . learn what the eggs feel like to the touch .spikes hit mid day most of the time . got it

I know I'm pouring a lot on you but would like your first to be a good one I had no one had to learn on my own .one good thing you eggs are yours .
Better to learn something now than in the middle of a hatch.

I turned it a hair. I will wait a few hours and see what that does.

setting tomorrow evening is perfect you have time . other thing have you candled your eggs yet to see if any are real porous mark those so you know which ones they are the air cells will grow quicker in them . the ones with the densest shell will grow slower if you don't know what to look for google it .

I candled a few, but not all.
