@BantyChooks, Thanks so much! Two have hatched that I've seen, I wonder how many she will hatch - I think that 5 of the 12 are viable. The others I'm not sure about.
I took this video within 2 minutes of hearing the first cheeping.
HI Banty # 1 air cell don't always slope . #2 running dry is not a bad Ideal . if you know you need to. get through today and tomorrow. 13 days to build an incubator so you better be working on it now . you need to get a fan look on Ebay get a PC that is 110 volts so you won't need a converter about twenty dollars . are you going to use Sally's design ? It's as good as any I have seen. You also need a controller . DON'T order anything that is not coming from inside the US . you can lay it all out add the fan and controller when they come in so show us the design and works you have planned .
use a pc fan and you will need a power converter . all most all Pc fans are twelve volts . you can buy the same stile that is 110 volt . the reason I say this is because most cordless phone chargers and similar types don't deliver enough amps to run the fan properly and the burn out quicker . so you keep changing them . gets to be a pain . been there done that . our you could look at incubator warehouse kits .
