So,, the waiting game, OMG, I have the incubator in my bedroom, I can hear some of them chirping,, so on day 19.

I have incubated about 4 times now, but the ones I did in the past were all Silkie fathered and ALL hatched on day 18. This new batch, is all fathered by a Silver coated or whatever u call it Wyandotte rooster, and the hens are mainly Barred Rock with 1 white leghorn and one black star, so, on day 19 and only 2 have pipped,,

NOW WHAT,,

I have 2 that hatched this morning. Like I said in my original post, all the ones I hatched in the past have all hatched on day 18, but they were all Silkies or Silkie mixed.

We just hatched. Day 21 was Monday. On Saturday morning 4 pips. By Saturday evening all 4 hatched. By Sunday night we had a total of 17 hatched, happy, and in the brooder. Monday we had one more that was having issues, so I actually had to "help" the baby hatch. So now we have 18 out of the 21. Sadly the 3 that passed and didn't even pip were pretty much fully there. They just never turned to the air pocket.😢
