Hawk, Falcon, seagulls or Eagles How to Avoid loosing chickens!!

Hi there, no ospreys for us round these parts unfortunatly..
Its not even a challenge for the gulls they are like mini Albatross's, one gull (out of nesting season) will wipe out a clutch of chicks, take out the mum in the process and eat the lot.
Thanks anyway

My guineas were screeching and when I went outside, a hawk was sitting on the ground next to a wire cage that had a rooster in it.
The rooster is dead??? No blood or any sign of injury?? The rooster had stiff legs and couldn't walk for the last several months, so I had kept him in a cage. It's nice outside, so I had him out in a wire cage. Can the hawk reach in with its talons or beak and kill a chicken? I feel so bad for this rooster! I have been caring for him, giving him vitamins and RACVinegar!

I had a mini lop named Clover, who had a heart attack and passed away. She was playing in the yard and my shiba inu got a hold of her. He didn't injure her, but she got really scared and died shortly after.

we have a ton of oxygen hose line so i started making something like a giant spider web that is hi up over our heads & i hung strips of white cloth off of it so the eyes from the skies can see that it is there, its all over the open spaces on our land & attached it to posts i put in as i needed them, so that covers most of the open areas on our land & we have a lot of shrubs all over & fruit trees we planted so the girls love being under them most of the time & do well sleeping under them most days & are safe ,so thank goodness for that
