My Chicken is/might be sick I took her out of the coop she

Thread Starter

My ISA Brown chicken is or might be sick. We don`t know if she might be having a off day or not... she is sitting in the chicken coop, very tired and she has runny poo. I took her out of the coop and she drank some water. Later on I went back to the coop she had gone back in. We think she is old, but we don`t know since she is a rescue chicken.

Please help!

in the short term, id give her vitamin supplements / electrolytes - these will help perk her up a bit and give her immune system a boost. Im not suggesting its a panacea for whatever is ailing her, but it sure won't do any harm.

Hoping other more experienced members will chip in soon.

All the best

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-

Is she eating? Is she drinking? Is her crop full? When was she wormed last? What is her body condition?
