Anyone in WV??? - Page 12

anyone near charleston, wv interested in going in together on some Bantams from Ideal?  They have a special st run assorted bantams for 99 cents each if you order 25.  I can't handle more that 5 or 6 so i was trying to find one or two people that might be interested in some if i order 25.  I also go to Parkersburg, Huntington, Logan and Beckley for work, so if you're in those areas i could meet you.  PM me if you're interested.

Hey fella West Virginians frow  We're planning a ChickenStock in the Eastern Panhandle on Sat. September 26th from 8-12.  We had one back in April that was huge hit so we're giving it another swing.

It will be at the Tractor Supply Co. in Martinsburg and I will be contacting our ag. dept. to have someone come out and test our birds before the event.  Any out of staters, you'll also need AI testing no more than 10 days prior to the event.  If someone would be interested in becoming NPIP and avoid having to get your birds tested, please pm me and I'll hook you up big_smile It's free and easy.

Hope to see some of you there!!

wish I was closer to you, I'd order those bantams I want and bring the rest to sell lol

I've got an order of Barnevelders and Welsummers coming in sept.  Guess I'll just add some bantams to that order.  I hate to pay full price, but I guess no one was interested in splitting a order hit

Hey folks!  Did anyone go to the State Fair this year?  I was wondering if they made any changes to the poultry barn or if they will be judging in the future?

Anyone else in WV near Ripley?

The "Around the Farm" store is have a swap meet this Saturday 9-5. $10 to set up.  they advertised goats, rabbits, pigs and poultry.  Just thought i'd let people know.  They said this is the first time they are doing it, but they plan on a weekly thing if the interest is there.  We're planning on going just to check it out.

I am near Fairmont.  I wondered if everyone knows that there is a poultry butchering facility in WV, down near Phillipi.  These people have a nice clean facility.  They also sell poultry.

It is called White Oak Farms, and the number is:  304-457-1085.

We have bought some very nice started birds from them.  I think they make sausage also.

I am taking them some birds to butcher on Sunday, pick them up I think on Tuesday.

I just cannot do it myself.
