Ive had my light Sussex hen for a year now, and she has suddenly started laying weird small spotted eggs. I originally had 2 chickens however one passed away over the Christmas break. Since then she has only layed a few eggs that we have actually seen as she has eaten a few of them, Im guessing due to stress. Usually she would lay very large eggs. Does anyone know why she would start laying small ones now?
