Hoping I'm worried to soon

l happy to say my 3 girls who 'were' laying and then stopped have started again and I have a fridge full of eggsonce more. And these ones seem to be a lot bigger than before. I still have no idea why my other 2 have not started laying at all yet.

When mine restarted she actually started laying smaller but has caught up to her prior size. As for those not laying yet there are some breeds that just take longer. For example the astraloph, they can take 8-9 months sometimes longer depending when winter hits. My astralophis about 8 or 9 months now but due to egg count Im still not sure if she laid (might have laid her first yesterday). I would say especially if they are larger breed chickens just give then time

One of the ones not laying yet is my Australorp so I'll try to be more patient with her. LOL Although I have noticed her wattle and all around her head is much redder these last 2-3 days so hopefully it means she's ready to go. My New Hampshire is taking her sweet time too.

My astraloph, finally laid today. Apparently she's an ameraucana mix she gave me a green egg
