Problems Uploading Pics?

Hi all -

I'm trying to upload pics with the BYC uploading tool so I can get your opinions on whether a buff orpington pullet is really a rooster, but I can't seem to do it.  I've read the instructions and have tried to upload both .jpg and .png files, but I get an error message that says they aren't the right file type.  Any ideas?  Is there a post out there somewhere that I need to read?  Thanks very much for your help.
