Something on his bottom

I just had a chick kick off the bottom piece of shell. He's got something yellow on his bottom. What could this be?

I would dab his belly button with flour if it is bleeding, leave him attached to shell, and give him sips of yolk water for the first 3 days after you get him in brooder.

He's off the egg did that him self. Just has the small yellow thing attached. Also keeps rolling on to his back like a turtle and can't get over. I sure hope he's ok.
 
it will take them a while to walk.

the yellow may be unabsorbed yolk. the chick could have hatched early. very veiny egg.

When a chick pips a hole theyare not ready to hatch, they still need another 24 hrs. to digest the yolk. This chick must have rushed his own hatch.

Yes I was quite surprised he was out. But he pipped about 8 last night and when I got up at 6 this morning it was still a pip. Went to work and then when I came home he had just the bottom shell and was pushing. He's doing a lot better and sitting up. Keeps falling back a little. I think he could be slightly spraddle legged but my husband doesn't think so. Said to give him time. I've made sure that his bottom part stays clean and he is still in the incubator for a little longer. Thank you for your replies and advice :)
 
sometimes early hatchers can be stargazers, They can be cured. when she is big enough to come out of her incubator, give her a sip (dip beak ) in egg yolk water.
