I have a family member training for college football and eating an enormous amount of eggs I decided to build a 200 square foot pen to house a dozen chickens. I am looking for laying chickens (adults) so that I may control the food source of the eggs he is consuming. Apparently I have not looked high or low enough yet because I have come up with juveniles at best, any thoughts?

I can't help locate those layers, but you could search for breeders in your area?
