Hello everyone! I got my first ducks on Thursday and had a bad experience with them being sent to me. Many did not make it :( but found a local source and now have 12 ducks who seem to be doing well! One makes me nervous with what seems to be a hurt leg.
 
Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but definitely post on our Duck section in Other BackYard Poultry under the Forum at the top of the page and take advantage of our duck experts there. Please do check out the duck threads. Ducklings especially - may have a niacin deficiency which causes issue with their mobility.

I hope you get some answers about your duck's foot...it looks swollen. Has it always looked like that?

If you received dead ducklings from a hatchery, most will give you a refund or credit for the lost ones. I hope you called them.
