You're correct. My Pet Chicken doesn't actually breed their Ameraucanas but gets them from Meyer Hatchery which is why I said that Meyer is the only hatchery that actually "breeds" and sells them.

Gee, thanks. They were just hatchery hens I think from MMM. They've been gone a few years now, but I may be on the lookout for more similar colored chicks in the bins this spring. I like the blonde girls
