my fear is the infection. Should I kill her to stop her from suffering. This drake is becoming a problem. I am so sad she was a great layer :(

Well u could clean it out but I wouldn't kill her just try and putt lots of flour on it to stop the bleeding and then we'll worry about the infection

You could kill the drake

How severe is the damage? Birds are amazing survivors, living through what you would think would kill them. She should be separated.

Were all the ducks involved or just the drake? Drakes are miserable during breeding season.

Or maybe just sell it/put it in a different run??? Killing it is an awful idea.
