It's not for an outside party to decide what is *valuable* in someone else's breeding program. Carriers (or in this species splits) are generally used to maintain size and conformation without getting too genetically "strung out". When one starts breeding mutations recklessly--genetically linked health issues aren't far behind. Blindness comes to mind . . .

I agree, I specifically wanted a split Peach male, because I have seen so many others whose Peach are just not healthy.
