I'm just wanting advice on my coop and how to make sure my chicken are happy

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. If you live in an area where there are predators (dogs, cats, foxes, coons, rats, snakes, weasels, etc.) I would strongly recommend replacing that chicken wire with hardware cloth as there are just too many predators that can either tear through chicken wire, or squeeze through the openings in the mesh. Chicken wire is great for keeping chickens in but not at keeping predators out. Hardware cloth is more expensive but it's cheaper than replacing your flock. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

It really depends on the stink. Some people use the deep litter method. But I clean my whole coop once a week and my poop board twice a week but I don't want a smelly coop.

Yochickiemomma what's a poop board??? Might be a dumb question but I really know nothing about chickens. But I got them anyway and now I have to learn on the fly

Its a shelf/ board that goes under your chickens roosts. It helps reduce the amount of poop that ends up on the bottom of the coop. Its especially helpful if they roost height in the coop. Its not a dumb question BTW.
