This is my first time incubating eggs. I have blue and green eggs from my Eggers and it's going really well though I've had a difficult time regulating good temps and humidity in my Little Giant 6300 (temp stays mostly 99-100 though 101 is sometimes briefly reached and humidity stays around 45-51). Today is day 7 and I candled for the first time... it's hard to see veins and in the green ones practically impossible to see anything at all but what concerns me is the yolk stays to one side of the egg, let's say the west side, and doesn't move. Are my embryos ok?? In some of the blue eggs I notice the yolk moves slightly but typically doesn't leave the west side. I can see the air pocket at the bottom so I don't think I have a large air pocket. I also noticed the yolk looks like it's splitting when I'm looking straight down on the egg... maybe the light's just bending inside... Any knowledge or wisdom on this matter would be very helpful!!
