Barred Rocks - head gear

Wow... I didn't know about that mix, might help me place some cream leg bar roo babies. I have pens for different types. Mystery Bars in one, cream legs in another Marrans are getting theirs hopefully this week. Faveroles are with them now, and silkies., I had buff orpingtons in with Easter eggers and did that cross but I have stopped as that was impossible to tell the sex and some turned out cute but it was not a great cross and I won't do that anymore. I did have a silkie roo x with a green egg cream leg bar. They came out tiny and looking like they were one of my mystery bars. They got sold so I don't know what they turned out like.
I want to do straight breeds now..and I want ones where if they don't sell straight run as babies I know by 9 weeks weather to keep them going or cull them. I keep each hatch living together cause they get along so well. That one cream leg bar was a second set of CLB from a different line they were green eggs, I was disappointed again anyway they hatched out with silkies and have not moved her over yet.
The cream leg bars were a disappointment, the first fertile eggs came jumbo Tiffany blue egg they were so pretty. But the parents started laying a green egg, it has tinted more towards blue but nothing like what they came from. Now in their defense they live in a gigantic crate 10 x 5 in my garage they don't get to free range because of the design of the crate, they were suppose to go into a new pen in back but until recently I had 3 roosters in that hatch and they just never stopped crowing and were crazy loud, I just could not move them back with the others. Now I'm down to one rooster and although he is loud he is starting to calm down. I have to pick my roosters up at night and put them in the garage. A back neighbor complained, the BCM is also an over achiever...
I gladly do it if it keeps the complainers away. This neighborhood I moved to is zoned for all this stuff but the neighbors have no problem stopping by and voicing their opinions,,,, about everything...I just keep my head down and hope they don't roll to a stop...lol but I'm very off topic now...
