Pea comb question!!

I have Legbar eggs that are currently hatching. In that pen I had 2 legbar roosters along with 2 wheaten (one blue wheaten) pure bred Ameraucanas. Of the 4 that have hatched, none have pea combs! Is it possible so far all are purebred chicks? I was certain I'd have some EE hatch out!

Pea combs are dominant, so they should carry over if you've got mixed breed birds. Now, sometimes you get a funky/modified pea comb, especially when mixing with a breed with a larger straight comb. I don't have chick pictures, but here are some mixed of nice tight pea combed EE with Leghorns. The hens laid nice pale blue eggs.

They're not great comb shots, but you get the idea. They probably looked like straight combs as chicks, I don't recall.

I'm going to wait several days to see if the combs take on a more "pea comb" look. And maybe check for fluffy cheeks!
Here is an Olive egger (WelsummerXOlive egger splash roo) and I can definitely see the fluff!

Oops! Here you go!
