Pekin bantam chocolate hen turning black

my chocolate pekin bantam hen is turning black after a moult why is it doing this

New feathers come in darker, and sometimes dark brown can look black. Are you sure it is a chocolate and not just a faded black?
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.
