Yea me 2 living in Florida for so long ppl come down here to stay warm and there walking around in flip flops while I'm wearing two pairs of pants a jacket lol you can always tell when the snow birds are down lol
 
28 ? I'd probably die lol no joke I'd go crazy ha ha never liked the cold makes everything hurt and hard to work in for me
 
yes they do great I keep them in the garage because of our coop issue, and it is heated, even when it is really really cold they do fine , because we keep the moister down by using chicken nipples paired with a birdbath heater to keep them with fresh water and our garage is insulated partially so they can keep the temps in there way higher than outside I only had problems one time where their water had froze but that was when it was in the -20s.
