I am looking to purchase a pair of red golden pheasants. I live in North Texas and can pick up from Oklahoma City or Dallas/Ft Worth or pay for shipping.

Thank you! But, since I have to pay shipping anyway, I would prefer to get a pair from the same place.
Which could mean you are getting related birds.You should buy from 2 different breeders so you get unrelated birds.

Here's another place you might try! Their having a sale this weekend, usually have pretty good selection of birds and other exotic animals, www.idumasale.com
Unless you live in the same climate as Tx I would be careful buying birds from a warm state this time of the year.

X2 Tony, only thing about that is, Texas is so big, it could be 25 degrees in the panhandle and 85 degrees in South Texas this time of year. The sales in Kileen, Tx. almost the center of Texas, and i think jmjb1999 is near Big D, about 3hr drive from Kileen. Not much temp difference. Either way, good advice.
