When I had the eggs incubating back in early November, I wondered what cross it would be. Once they had hatched I knew exactly the cross. How did I know, well the 5 toes and feathered feet gave it away. Of course I already knew who the mama was, one of our Buff Orpingtons and the daddy is our Black Bearded Silkie.

I ended up with 3 of this cross.....2 cockerels and 1 pullet.

Here is the pullet. I put them in with the main flock today, and she is NOT too happy about it!

I love them! I think their color pattern are so interesting!

The two males have a beautiful black/green tail feathers!
