My 10 month old barred rock seems to have come down with an illness. Her poop is milky white with few chunks, she is very lethargic, but she is eating and drinking what I am giving her (fruit and fruit juice). What worries me is I had a beautiful silver laced wyandotte that died a while back bearing the same symptoms. They have both been treated with Corid, so I'm not sure she could have cocci. Please help!! Thanks.

Has she been laying eggs recently, or has she ever had any problems with shell-less eggs or eggs breaking inside her? Do you have a local vet who could test her droppings for worms, cocci, and possibly do a gram stain? If so, I would take in several of her freshest droppings. The white in her droppings is uric acid. If she should die, I would get a necropsy done on her which most state vets will do.
