I am hoping someone can help me figure out what the nature of the growth is on my rooster's comb. He is a 2 year old serama. About a month ago I noticed a single wart-like growth on his comb. It is raised and, well, wart-like. He seems to be in fine health. Bright eyes good appetite energetic. It doesnt seem to be growing. If it is, its growing very slowly. I was looking at information about flavus and pox but it doesn't seem to fit that profile. I will post a picture but its midnight now. I saved him from a fire in the brooder when he was about 2 weeks old and he is very special to me. Should I take him to a vet? I haven't worried about it. Just figured it was just something rooster combs get. But today as we were snuggling i realized how devastated I would be if anything happened to him. Especially if was because I didn't pay enough attention to something that I should have in the early stages
