If she sets for the duration, she will protect the chicks from all comers.
If you bring them in, you'll have a harder time reintroducing them to the flock because the hen won't have had the opportunity to teach the others that the chicks belong. By the time they're older, she won't care.

You will have to provide the whole flock with a single feed, preferably starter for now. Definitely not a layer feed.

A hen caring for 8 chicks is no problem.
I once had a hen brood 36 chicks.

The big eggs appear to all be double yolkers. Is that native to a particular breed? I believe they're coming from an Isa Brown.
