help with quail cage

I'd just get one for both; it'll make things easier and I don't think there's much actual difference between most breeds.  If you can find jumbos, get them, otherwise you can breed for larger birds if you're going to incubate.  I was looking for coturnix but found jumbo goldens. 

How big do those get and whats the egg count like?
 
I've got them in the incubator, so I don't have personal experience with them yet. The breeder says they get to 10-12 ounces and roughly an egg a day.

The eggs I set were mostly in the 11.5g to 13.5g range, with some bigger and a few smaller. I'm not looking for huge birds, so if they get to 11 ounces in 8 weeks they'll dress out nicely at about half a pound. If their feed conversion drops off markedly, I'll use that as the indicator that they're ready to graduate.

The eggs are the best I've ever had, so egg production will be important to me as well.
