Hello I am new to BYC! I live in Rainbow Valley AZ, a rural area south of Buckeye. Living out in the boonies affords the luxury of keeping chickens. I have 5 for now, a rooster, a mature white hen who lays a good sized brown egg most days and three young chicks, a rhode island red, a turken (naked neck) and an easter egger. All have a personality of their own and are waiting at the coop door when I get home from work.

I look forward to using this site to share info and learn how to best care for my current and future flock!
