I am not very fond of taxidermists either, but from a different view. Back in the '80's I used to raise a lot of different gamebirds, but when it became time to move to a different area with no space for pens I had to sell everything. I had some absolutely beautiful Lady Amherst, Red Goldens, and Yellow Goldens that I didn't want to part with, so I made a deal to have my favorites mounted so I could keep them. Well I found a very unscrupulous guy that never honored our deal. Not only did I never get my birds back, he also got the two birds for one mounted bird as well. I got totally screwed on that deal, he went out of 'business' and moved.
