Forsyth Fowl Fanciers Spring Show in NC, March 26 2016!

So is anyone planning on attending this show? Has anyone attended this show in the past?

I will be visiting my parents in NC during this time and I hope I can make it there! I've never been to a poultry show before, so this would be a new experience for me. I hope to go there and see lots of pretty chickens!

~Nikki :)

Current pets - I have 2 boy kitties, a snowshoe and a brown tabby!

Future pets - Adopt 1 or 2 rescue greyhounds, adopt a bonded pair of house bunnies, get a nice "little" flock of chickens (around 12-16, all different breeds!) and some serama chickens as pets! And cats, of course! :P

I will be there, but not showing.  I go to visit friends, see the birds in the show, and see what is available to buy outside.

Nice! I'm interested to see what goes on at these shows! Mostly interested to see what kind of chickens people are selling. I just hope I can make it there, have to convince my mom and sister that they want to go to this, lol!

I have never been to one but was thinking of taking a drive up from Charlotte to see what goes on.  Anyone know what the hours are?  We have an egg hunt at 11:30 and I was going to try and get up there by 1:30.

Shows start at 9 am.  Before that exhibitors are getting their birds into the coops and ready for judging.  Outside sales will start as soon as the sun is up.  Most everyone selling is there by 8:30.  Exhibitors that are also setting up to sell normally start around 9 or so.  For a single show like this one, most sellers will be gone by 1pm.  That late the judging might even be done, depending on the number of entries and the judges.  At that time all the exhibitors will be packing up their birds to leave.

Yes, Myself and two other friends are getting together and driving over to the show. We enjoy seeing the entries, but we really enjoy coming and seeing what some people set up outside to sale. It can really be an exciting time if you are into that kind of thing...and we are. Love seeing the fowl and love trying to find and make a deal with some of the sellers.

Looking forward to it.
