Hands on hatching and help

They are mixed. Khaki/mallard and my others are call eggs. My humidity before was reading around 45-50% and when I added the sponges it never read higher than 60% which I find hard to believe

So are they all on day 26? Cuz the Calls should be hatching, but the others might not be quite ready yet...

Poor baby... yeah, that's it... load it up with straight vites, then a bit of water to wash it down... it's harder to get duckling to take drops than chicks, so might need to pry its bill open and drop it on its tongue... don't go to the back of the throat, if it goes down the middle hole it could choke, so let it swallow it...

Good luck!!

I've got sav-o-chick in their drinking water and I have been forcing it to drink that. Murdoch's gave me some tetracycline hydrochloride stuff that they swore would fix the problem. I'm pretty sure that is some type of anti-biotic and I'm not sure it is what I need but I'm giving it some of that too. Is that enough or should I be putting a concentrated batch of sav-o-chick down it's throat with a dropper?

No, don't do concentrated savachik... the best stuff to give them for that is Nutridrench Poultry Vitamins... this stuff...

Hmmm, I know they didn't have that at murdochs.  I am going to greeley tomorrow so I will check a couple places up there to see if I can find some.

If there is a Tractor Supply or Rural King, they carry it... a lot of co-ops do too... I can't think of anywhere else though... I hope you find it, I've used it a few times for wry neck and within a day or 2 you couldn't tell which one it was...

ETA: if you can't find it, infant vitamin drops called PolyViSol w/out Iron works too...
