Yes you do! What are you working with now?
This is how the majority of my shipped call ducks eggs looked, but I've never had a chicken egg develop with that kind of damage. It definitely keeps you on your toes throughout the incubation, doesn't it?! It's a miracle how some eggs will develop against all odds! Keeping my for you!Dang, its so sad that they much such an awesome product, but have such )#^$* customer service. I've heard it too many times. And sorry about your eggs. Maybe a few days will make a difference. I saw early development in just a few also, but then a few more the next time I checked. I'm only on day 5 or 6. This is a shipped serama egg, with a totally detached and floating air cell, plus it looked busted (see my little circles?) It had bubbles floating next to the air cell. Well.... its definitely developing!
So I basically really, really screwed up! I'm on day 19 of a set. I was running dry because I had a really hard time getting these eggs to loose moisture. I was supposed to lockdown yesterday. I was planning on doing it last night but I got a horrible headache...borderline migraine. So I spot checked a couple eggs, didn't see much drawdown and went to bed. Got up this morning to candle and lockdown, 2 were internally pipped and very sadly 3 look to be totally shrink wrapped!! I feel horrible!! I've basically given them a death sentence. I'm just so so mad at myself!!

[/IMG][/IMG] Two questions? How to the air sacs look for day 18? And on the last one, does the chick usually only take up this much room in the egg on day 18?
I though it looked small, my others fill up the egg more. It's still alive though, as I see lots of movement. What does it mean for the chic that it's so small.Air cells look ok to me. If that last pic is candling from the pointy end, it should almost completely fill that end. Day 18 still has some growing to do, but that's still quite a bit of fluid. JMO
