I'm in New England. We've had a seriously mild winter this year.

However, we've gotten snow every day for the past 5 days and our temps are dropping fast. We've got about 10 inches of snow on the ground now.

This morning when I went out to do my duck chores I noticed fox tracks in the snow and bobcat tracks in the snow.

The fox tracks were all over the yard and across my patios.

The bobcat prints were prowling around my bird feeders and along the forest edges.

Please, please take the extra time to check for predator signs and to secure your ducks (and small pets) at night.

My ducks are safe.
