Help chicks tail feathers gone blood

There may be bullying going on from more than one source. I think your chicks are going to very quickly out grow your 4 x 8 space with 25 birds in there. The sticks help but you may also be having fluctuating temperatures working against you based on my observations of your brooder box.

What size area do you think I need. I'm only keeping them there for about 4 to 5 more weeks they are two weeks old now.

Our brooder is 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 what gives us so much more space is by adding areas the birds can hop onto like the perches in the back ground and the heating pad ((yellow)) in center.

I did get some cover up lotion for her and that seems to work. I don't know which one is the bully for say.

I am glad that it seems to be working. It may be that she broke a blood feather on her own with normal chick rambunctiousness...once the blood started flowing, it would have been irresistable to the rest of the chicks. Hope that the rest of their chickhood is uneventful for you!
