I did some searching of the threads after my last post and it seems quite common to have have even homozygous straight comb wyandottes. I also read on another site that British wyandottes are lighter than Americans so my pullet will probably not be as chunky as yours was. I'll have to wait and see, I'll keep updating this thread with her progress. Thanks for your help.
