I'm almost completed building a homemade over engineered incubator. Auto Turner, digital thermostat with heating rods instead of light bulbs, LED lights thermostat controlled fogger and fan to pump in humidity. Water resivor, second tank for auto fill float with fogger. It was fun. I digress...
My issue is its not holding humidity higher the 25% even with the fogger constantly pumping in humidity. My incubator is built with wood core I'm wondering if it's absorbing it as fast as its going in? Is there a safe paint or sealant to use? I have 1/2 inch reflective insulation on exterior followed by 2 inch insulation all sealed. Holds temp amazing
Has anyone had this issue will the issue solve itself after a day of running my test was 3 hrs. Temp held in 15 mins.
