How Do I Get My Geese To Breed?

Sex is a strong force. If they are of opposite sex and mature, they will breed. (Even same sex will make a pretty good attempt.) Although some geese start this early, mine always started somewhat later in the spring. Providing a pool of water facilitates breeding for larger, clumsier birds.
 
They'll start to breed when they are mature enough. How old are they? Make sure you have a shallow pool nearby because if they are going to breed they will do it in water. I suggest going to walmart and getting one of those blue plastic kiddy pools. Good luck!

My Embden and Dewlap Toulouse even breed outside of the pools... silly birds
