taking chicks from house to coop

I have four buff orpingtons that are four weeks old now. They have been in our house in a plastic crate with a red 250 watt heat lamp on them. The lamp is pretty far away from them now about 2-1/2 to 3 feet. I live in central florida and it's been going down to the low 50s at night. I have a coop outside that is 4foot by 6foot no drafts and I want to put my heat lamp in it and put the chicks in there. Is it too early for them? They have lots of feathers now. Just want to make sure it's not too early. Thanks

If it's in the 50s it sure won't hurt the and if u are putting the heat lamp in there they should be fine so I would put them out if I were u and lived in Florida in fact they shouldn't even need there heat lamp if they have a lot of feathers
