Chickens won't go in coop! Have tried everything....

I'm curious.....what is the directional location(NSEW) of coop and adjacent building?
Thinking in regards to shade/sunlight and prevailing winds.

Narrow part of coop faces easy to west. The blue door faves south and the new window I just cut in is on the south side as well. Winds come from the south west when we have wind. Mountain surrounding the valley are 10,000 plus feet and the valley floor is 32-3500 feet in elevation. Pretty narrow valley at the widest part about 10 miles wide.

Success!!! Last night I went out later than usual to see if they had mad it into there coop. And sure enough 5 of them were up in the coop!! Whoop whoop! Hopefully the other 5 will soon follow.

Thanks for all the ideas here. I had moved the feeder, and finally also the water into the coop hoping the new pullets would go there at night. Easter morning it was 28°and 2" of snow and they still stayed outside overnight. I finally tried the light idea. A low-watt cfl on all afternoon and lit until about 10:00 p.m. It has done the trick, and they now recognize the coop as home. If you're new to this dilemma, start with the light!
