Number one: Buff Orpington. I like Buff Orpingtons because they are so docile. They make great beginners birds because they are so tame and even allow you to take them in the house. Number two: Brahma. Brahmas are good pets and reliable egg layers. I would recommend them to someone who has had lots of experience with chicken keeping because they go broody often. Number three : Ameracana. Although they can be sweet and lay green, blue, yellow, and pink eggs they have a crazy side and are not good for beginners. Number four: Plymouth Rock. Plymouth Rocks are good layers and are very calm and docile. Number five: Comet. I recommend Comets because they are calm, but can become dominant. Number Six : Rhode Island Red. They are Feisty and Confident, but Loving and Docile at the same time.

You don't actually have my very favorites on your list which are Black Sex Links (a hybrid and not actually a breed like the Comets aka Red Sex Links on your list are), Australorps, and Faverolles, but I do love Orpingtons, Brahmas, Cochins, Sussex, and Silkies as well. I suppose if I had to choose one specific breed on your list I would choose the Orpington.

None of my favorites are options! :D It's so difficult to choose the order, so I'll just list them: Golden Campine, Sicilian Buttercup, Plymouth Rock (either Barred or White), Speckled Sussex, and one that is a little strange....my Welsummer/Barnevelder cross.
