Help. My daughter cracked an egg from incubator

The egg is open chick breathing but membrane at 8 hours is still very vascular and she isn't trying to get out
 
Welcome to BYC. What day of incubation is the egg at? I would cover it with a moist paper towel to cut down on excessive drying of the membranes.

As best I can tell. It still has a small cord of something attached to egg is laying and chirping and kicking. So far ok but I will check again after some sleep. It is the roughest on my kiddo she is 6 and devastated it was an accident
 
accidents happen. Sounds like the chick will be okay. As others hatch you may want to keep it away from them so they don't detach it from the yolk sac. The chick is still absorbing it.
 
So it is alive but can't walk just flops around. Seems like on leg isn't working not sure I am sick it is hurt
