At that age, it should be a pullet.
It's got something Red in the ancestry, but I'm not sure it's Rhode Island. Those white legs could mean she's mixed with Orpington, but that usually gives a brighter orange colored bird. I'd just call her a red brown egg layer.
I believe that is a mixed breed pullet. She's very pretty.
Still can't really see the back feathers, but I stand by my assessment of cockerel at about 14 weeks old.Here are a few more photos, including one of the little gal I do not know the breed. She is very small but has pretty coloring.
I have had it since Halloween and he/she was at least 1 week old then, but most likely 2 weeks. It is at least 17 weeks old
