My pet Rooster Pheasant (Czar) was acting very strange one day and he wouldn't eat very much. Usually he loves grass-and it is winter, but he didn't even eat very much when I got him some. He must have some disease but I can't figure it out.
His symptoms--Puffed up, not lively like he once was, swelling abdomen near/around vent, greenish-liquid droppings, lack of desire to eat, breathing problems, has trouble balancing.
We once had a hen with very similar symptoms--she began to stand vertically and swelled very large at her back end, she to could not balance well, we had to get rid of her.
Please help, I would like to know if there are any antibiotics for this disease (whatever it is), before he to begins standing more vertically.
