I have been raising peacocks for the past 15 years. I have noticed that Two males had have lost their head tassels. I believe these birds are very old birds. Does anyone know if as they age they lose their head tassels? Otherwise any help in answering why two of my birds have lost their tassel. The one for at least 5-years has not had any. Sadly I found him dead this past week. Please Help if anyone knows the answer to why this occurs and if it is Age related?
