Chick gasping for air

I have a chick I got with a batch for about a week.

It's laying down, gasping for air. The others seem fine for now, but this one looks to be dying. It's one of the larger chicks and it was in perfect shape.

I heard Tylosin in the water can help, but avoid ACV and electrolytes/gatorade.

Ionly have Tylosin injectable though.

It sometimes freaks out and runs short distances and falls over, sometimes on its back.

It won't eat or drink.

I have pine shavings.

Crop seemed empty.

But it died. The one where it is laying down, it was still alive.

I'm not sure what this yellowish foam in the mouth is.

I tried to give it some water, it drank a little, then spazzed and chirped like it was in pain, then died.

Aw! I'm sorry.. It happens. It always makes me sad when any of my chicks die. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear you lost one. I have had the same problem. They had gotten Chilled in shipping and a few seem to get pneumonia. It happens so quick not much you can do about it.
