disintegrated poop on poop board at night.

I don't notice this is the yard, so hopefully it's something on my poop board 'eating' the hen's poop rather than an internal parasite. When I clean up the poop board in the morning, several of the piles of poop look as if a parasite of some kind has been through the poop. It's spread out in a pile of dry, fine, tiny crumbles. There's no noticeable parasites in the piles.

What could this be? It's happened in both of my 2 coops.

Here's their normal poop:
 
Flies, larvae and beetles can go through poo.
I would try to clean the board really well and maybe give it a very light dusting of something like Diatomaceous Earth (food grade) to see if that helps.
