Hey! I got a few chicks but have no idea what breed they are! Maybe RIR?

Thanks for any info! Honestly I want to get some speckled Sussex or a gold laced whyndottes so I'll probably sell a few of these ones! Super cute though!

If they came from a tractor supply they are likely Production Reds. Technically speaking, there's very little or no difference between hatchery quality RIRs and Production Reds as both of them lack the deep body, dark mahogany feathering, and profuse black tail feathering of heritage RIRs sold by reputable breeders. If they are female, they should be excellent layers for you. :eek:)

Any idea what breed this may be? Are there chicken "mutts"? When I asked the old-timer who gave them to me, he said "well, they're white and kindly speckled I reckon". :)
