I'm getting my first chicks In the near future and I haven't seen whether I should or should not keep the light on in the room I am keeper the brooder in or not. I know light matters for laying but I'm not sure it matters as chicks since the heat lamp will be on.

As long as there is a light on in general for sight they should be okay ^^
