Got the chick's into their new coop finally. Need to add a ramp up to roost area. Will start on their run next week.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

Great stuff - I'm getting a lot of good ideas from your project - the pics are very helpful.  I'm thinking about doing the same thing with an old shed on a property we just moved into.  I'm particularly interested in hearing how you plan to approach the run...
