Geese Breed Focus Project

yes i have pair. How can i take the eggs because she dont leave the nest .and she is sitting on only 3 eggs.
You need to get her up so she can eat and drink and bathe. I have heard of females dying from not taking proper care of themselves when brooding and sounds like your female is one. If I don't see my female come out by mid afternoon I go in and lift her up and sit her outside she usually goes and gets something to eat and drink then. Then I go in look at the eggs and tidy up because the poo in their nest and it can get pretty nasty after a while. If the eggs smell rotten then time to get rid of them and clean up the nest she'll mope around for a while but she'll get over it but her health is very important.

Are you sure on how many days she has been on the nest?

If your worried about the gander move him first to a secure place then just pick her up and carry her to him.

Listen to the eggs smell then and also candle before tossing in case your dates are wrong. My goose doesn't attack she is so zoned out when she is brooding. My gander wants to protect her though so he goes into another part of the property by me herding him before I move her.

Let us know what you find and how she is doing.

You can do this @AZawan !
